Photos of vast quantities of materials in a warehouse, a factory, a market or a field are found throughout the Farm Security Administration Collection in the Prints and Photographs Division. The repetition of the same objects create compositions that not only please the eye, but tell stories of scale, abundance, and production. This post will share examples from the collection of these types of photos.
