Raiders wide receiver Jack Bech will return this weekend to New Orleans
, a place he once loved to visit. He will be joined by a huge group of friends and family hoping to create new positive memories in what is now the site of the worst moment of his life. “The Superdome was a place I grew up going to watch the Saints, so to go in there and play against them is definitely a dream come true,” Bech said. “But obviously New Orleans is a place I have some thoughts about with what happened to my brother, so there’s a sour taste in a sense when we think about it.”

Sack attack
Maxx Crosby is keying what has so far been the NFL’s most effective rush. The Raiders are tied for the league-lead in sacks (eight), tied for third in quarterback knockdowns (10) and tied for fifth in quarterback hurries (13).
Special things on special teams
The Raiders rank No. 1 in expected points added on special teams through two games, a major factor in their surprising 2-0 start. A couple of long kickoff returns and Matt Gay’s 59-yard field goal at the end of the first half Sunday are major factors in the calculation.
Rookie earns award
Rookie cornerback Hezekiah Masses drew praise from his coach and teammates for an outstanding performance in his first start Sunday. Now he has also been honored by the league, earning AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

‘Undefeated is undefeated’
Appearing on his weekly segment with Fox Sports, Tom Brady defended placing the Raiders at No. 9 in his power rankings, significantly higher than most power rankings that have put the Raiders in 20s despite an unbeaten start to the season.
