In a speech to world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, President Donald Trump defended the conflict and said that he was considering whether to “annihilate” Iran and drive the country “into hell.”

Or, he said, Tehran could make a deal with the U.S. that would allow the nation to rebuild. But that won’t happen until after the midterm elections in November, Trump predicted.
