We put Reality Fracture up on the Simulator last week, but now it's time to really dig into the set, card-by-card.

There's a lot going on in Reality Fracture, from Special Guests to empower Jace and Echoed Pairs... Is this going to be the best Limited set of the year? At the very least we can start thinking about the cards and how they'll play out:

The highlight here is that this is a 10-archetype set, so a return to norm for Limited after so many small sets and 5-archetype designs.

You've got the 5 allied-color pairs here as the main focus, the twisted alternate-reality versions of the Strixhaven schools. Plus the enemy-colored pairs, which are themed around the Lorwyn Five planeswalkers (though losely).

There are also two major mechanics. Empower Jace is like amass, but for a planeswalker instead of an army. And prepare returns from SOS, with the twist that you'll see the same prepared spells across multiple creatures in the same school.
