I think the best part of the morning was finally clearing out the old stack of papers by the window.
It turned out the receipt for the lamp was buried under everything, which was good because I almost threw it away.
After that I walked to the corner store for some apples and a small bag of ice.
The plan for tomorrow is to finish the porch cleanup before the weather shifts again.
