Ben Tammetta is an engineer. Several years ago he went shopping for a molecular hydrogen system, looked at what they cost, and decided he was not paying it.

In 2007, a team publishing in Nature Medicine reported something that should not have worked. Hydrogen gas appeared to neutralize the hydroxyl radical, the most destructive oxidant your cells produce, while leaving alone the milder free radicals your body manufactures deliberately as signals.
Selective. Not a blunt instrument, which is what nearly every antioxidant in your cabinet is. That finding opened a door. There are now more than 1,000 published papers on molecular hydrogen, and almost nobody outside the research world has read one.
