Hi Iza,
The Big Bright Eyes Challenge started yesterday and watching a new group begin always makes me think about the same thing.
Day one isn't the one that is hard. Day one has the excitement, the momentum of something new. What happens after, when that wears off, that's actually what brings the results.
A while back, I almost didn't go test for my next belt in Taekwondo. I'd already done my Pilates that morning, I was tired, and part of me thought, do I really need this too?
But I got in the car anyway. I told myself I was doing it to show Nina what showing up looks like, even when you don't feel like it.
That's the part nobody tells you about consistency. It's not one big decision. It's a hundred small ones, made on the days you'd rather skip it.
So here's today's small decision. Five minutes, nothing more.
