The meeting on Thursday got moved to the smaller conference room because the main one is being painted. I checked with Janelle and she said the new time works for her. Honestly I think we should just bring the printouts and skip the slide deck since the projector has been acting up. When you get a minute could you send me the updated guest list for the workshop? I want to make sure we have enough chairs set up around the long table. Also the coffee machine on the third floor is finally fixed which is a relief. Last week someone left a note saying it was out of order and everyone had to walk down to the lobby. I think we should schedule the follow up for Friday morning before it gets busy. Honestly I think the garden looks better when we keep the hostas along the north side where they get that afternoon shade. Last spring we tried moving a few of them near the fence and they seemed stressed by the end of July. The lavender out front is doing great though and the bees have been all over it. I picked up a new watering wand at the hardware store on Saturday because the old one was leaking at the connection. While I was there I also grabbed a bag of topsoil for the raised bed. Do you think we should add a second layer of mulch before the weather turns? The maple tree is dropping leaves earlier than usual this year and I have been raking every other day just to keep the walkway clear. If you stop by this weekend I can show you the new trellis I built for the clematis. It is sturdy enough but I might add one more cross brace near the top.
