Speaking of 90s, we’ve hit our quota for the year. Typically, Boston registers 15 days at or above 90 degrees.

Friday marked the end of Week 2 in the high-profile murder trial for Lindsay Clancy, and it was an especially animated day in the courtroom between Judge William Sullivan and Defense Attorney Kevin Reddington.

There was a heated exchange between the two, accusations by Reddington against the prosecutors, and ultimately a stern warning from the judge. So what happened? We explored this on Friday night’s episode of “Commonwealth Confidential,” which you can watch in full below.

“I just want to make it real clear that there is to be no inappropriate comments or disruptive comments made inside of this courtroom,” Sullivan sternly told Reddington and the prosecutors. “If anybody’s found to make those, they will be immediately escorted out and barred for the balance of this. I just want to make this real clear.”

Massachusetts’ annual sales tax-free holiday weekend continues on Sunday, one of the best weekends of the year for shoppers.

The Bay State waives its 6.25% sales tax on most items once a year, coinciding with back-to-school shopping.

Most retail items priced $2,5000 or less are exempt from sales tax. There are exclusions, including meals, motor vehicles, utilities, tobacco products, marijuana and alcohol. Layaway sales also do not qualify for the tax-free holiday.

A man was flown to a trauma center after he was seriously injured in a boat fire in a Cape Cod harbor late Saturday afternoon.

Police in Bourne, Massachusetts, say they were dispatched just before 4:30 p.m. to Phinney’s Harbor at Monument Beach and arrived to find a small vessel aflame in the harbor.

A 69-year-old Bourne man had suffered significant burns to his arms and legs as a result of the fire. He was transported by MedFlight to a local hospital with what what appeared to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

An elderly woman slammed her car into a CVS store in Acton, Massachusetts, on Saturday afternoon, causing significant damage inside the store.

Acton police and fire departments responded to the business at 344 Great Road just after 3:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a vehicle into the building there. They arrived on scene and found a Jaguar sedan had crashed through the exterior wall of the building and was inside the CVS.

The 83-year-old driver and her 88-year-old male passenger, both Acton residents, were uninjured, police said. No shoppers or store employees were injured, either.

Three people were taken to the hospital after a car struck a utility pole then crashed into the front porch of a home in Brockton, Massachusetts, early Saturday morning.

Around 3 a.m. a Honda Accord was traveling west on Pleasant Street when it struck a utility pole. Police say the car then struck a boulder and fencing at 556 Pleasant St. before continuing down the street where it struck additional fencing and the home’s front porch.
