You may already have more of the book written than you realize.

Hi jan,

I'm super excited because I created a FREE tool… this is something absolutely amazing, that will help you pull your book right out of your head in just 20 minutes and give you a finished customized book outline, and the best part is this is absolutely free.

Check out my Book Starter Kit now.

How many times have you said…
"One day, I'm going to write a book"?

Maybe it was after a client told you your advice changed the way they saw their business.

Maybe it was after you shared a story and someone said:
"You need to put that in a book."

Maybe you opened a document, typed a title, wrote a few paragraphs, and promised yourself you would return to it when life slowed down.

Then life did what life always does.

The document stayed unfinished.

The notes stayed scattered.

And the book remained something you would get to "someday."

However we first connected, I'm writing because I believe this may matter to you now.

Over the past 40 years, I've met thousands of intelligent, experienced people with ideas worth sharing.

They had lessons that could help others.

Stories that could encourage someone.

Methods that could build their credibility, grow their business, or preserve what they had learned for the next generation.

But many of them never wrote the book.

Not because they lacked wisdom.

Not because they were not disciplined.

And not because they were not "real writers."

They simply could not see how all their ideas fit together.

They tried to begin with sentences before they had made the most important decisions:

Who is this book for?

What should it help that person understand, change, or achieve?

Which ideas belong?

What order will make those ideas most useful?

What is the one clear promise holding the entire book together?

Without those answers, the blank page feels much harder than it should.

You begin writing.

Then you question the direction.

You add another idea.

Then another.

Soon, you're no longer writing one clear book.

You're trying to organize an entire lifetime of knowledge while drafting Chapter One.

That's why I've always believed:

    Well planned is half done.

A book becomes easier to write when you can see it before you begin.

The message.

The reader.

The promise.

The chapters.

The path from the first page to the last.

You may already have everything you need to write a meaningful book.

What you may be missing is the plan that brings it all together.

Over the next few days, I'm going to share several of the most important principles I have learned from writing more than 90 books.

My hope is that they help you stop seeing your book as something distant and start seeing it as something you can actually complete.

To your success,
