Kathy L. Andrews (nee Redlark) of Arlington Heights, age 72, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Kathy was born in Chicago, the daughter of Raymond Redlark (Redlarczyk) and Ann (nee Sadowski), and she was raised in Elmwood Park with her three sisters: the late Diane (Michael) Mueller, Joy (Wayne) Orlowski, and Joan (Dave) Shedor. She attended Mother Guerin High School and earned a nursing degree from Concordia, eventually becoming a labor and delivery nurse at Lutheran General Hospital. She and husband of 50 years, Larry Andrews, moved to Arlington Heights in 1979 where they raised three boys: Michael (Angelica), Ryan (Brooke), and Steven (Amanda). Kathy was loving, fun, kind, and adventurous. She loved music, history, travel, crafts, and most of all spending time with her
family, including her seven grandchildren: Maya, Evan, Harper, Lucas, Reagan, Thomas, and Theresa. She will live on through all the wonderful memories she left behind
