Before the day begins asking for your attention, take a quick reflection...
What is the first thing you give yourself each morning?
For many people, the day begins by immediately giving.
Giving attention to responsibilities.
Giving energy to other people.
Giving thought to what needs to be solved, completed, answered, or carried.
And before they have truly arrived within themselves, they are already living in response to everything around them.
But the energy you begin your day with matters.
It enters the way you think.
It influences the way you speak.
It shapes the choices you make and the meaning you give to what unfolds.
Your morning is not only the beginning of your schedule. It is the beginning of the inner state from which you will meet your life.
This is why I want to invite you to begin today differently.
Before you give your energy to the world, give some of it back to yourself.
Give yourself the opportunity to breathe without rushing toward the next moment.
Give yourself space to hear what is present within you before the noise of the day begins speaking for you.
Give yourself a beginning that feels intentional, clear, and whole.
There are times when you have to recognize:
I need this.
Not because everything has gone wrong.
Because something within you knows the value of being restored before you are depleted.
Because caring for your inner state should not only happen once it has been pushed too far.
Because you deserve to experience your own life from a place that is deeper than urgency, habit, and reaction.
This morning, I am holding a special meditation to help you return to that place.
I will guide you inward, beyond the surface movement of thought, so your energy can settle and your awareness can return to what is true within you.
This is a space to begin again from the inside.
To allow peace to enter before the demands of the day.
To create clarity before making decisions.
To reconnect with yourself before becoming available to everything else.
Sometimes the most important thing you can give yourself is the decision to stop placing yourself last.
Let today be the morning you say:
I am giving this time to myself.
I am choosing how I want to enter this day.
I am allowing myself to receive what I so often give away.
