According to the National Weather Service, Extreme Heat Watches, Warnings, and Advisories will be in effect for much of Utah, Northeast Nevada, and Southeast Idaho, from Noon Saturday and lasting through Tuesday morning .

Daytime highs around Utah are forecast to reach around 105+ degrees below 6000ft with record breaking heat predicted in many areas.

Nighttime lows will be in the upper 70s to low 80s°F (25–27°C), offering little relief .
- Winds are generally light, so heat retention will be significant.
Safety Recommendations

Stay hydrated and drink plenty of fluids.

Seek shade and avoid prolonged outdoor activity during peak heat hours (late morning to early afternoon).

Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing and use sunscreen.

Check on vulnerable individuals (children, elderly, pets) and never leave them in unattended vehicles — interiors can reach lethal temperatures quickly.
- If you experience symptoms of heat exhaustion (heavy sweating, weakness, dizziness, nausea) or heat stroke (confusion, slurred speech, body temp above 103°F, hot dry skin), move to a cool, shaded area and seek medical help immediately.
