I finally got around to reorganizing my home office this weekend and it made such a difference. I moved my desk near the window so I get natural light in the afternoon and that alone changed how the whole room feels. I also found a stack of old notebooks I had been meaning to go through for years. There were notes from a project I worked on back in college and it was interesting to see how my thinking has evolved since then. I spent a couple of hours sorting through everything and ended up donating a bunch of items I was holding onto for no good reason. My partner said I seemed happier after I finished and she is right. There is something satisfying about clearing out physical clutter that also clears your head. I still need to figure out what to do with all the cables I found in that one drawer but at least they are coiled up neatly now. If you have any tips for a good cable management system let me know because I feel like I am drowning in charging cords. I also picked up a small plant for the shelf and it adds a nice touch of green to the space.

Hey thanks for the podcast recommendation. I started listening during my commute this week and I am already hooked. The episode about urban planning and how cities design public spaces was fascinating. I never thought about why certain parks feel inviting while others feel empty. The host has a relaxed style that makes complex topics easy to follow. I also appreciated that they kept each episode under forty minutes which is perfect for my drive to work. I am about six episodes in now and I can already tell I will be caught up by next weekend. Let me know if you have any other suggestions along those lines. I have been looking for something to listen to while I do yard work on Saturdays and this one fits the bill perfectly. I also tried that coffee shop you mentioned near the library and their cold brew is excellent. I will probably go back there this weekend to sit and read for a while. The atmosphere was quiet and the staff was friendly without being overbearing. Let me know what you think of the podcast once you get a chance to listen. I have also been thinking about trying that new bakery on Main Street if you want to meet up there sometime.
