The tomato plants we talked about have responded well to the new spot in the yard. I moved them to the south side where they get more hours of direct light and the soil drains faster after rain. I added a layer of compost around the base and the leaves have greened up noticeably. The basil next to them is also doing better with the extra airflow. I think you would see good results if you tried a similar setup in your garden. Let me know what you think about trying it.
