Yeah I think the trailhead parking should be fine if we arrive before 8am. I checked the park website and they mentioned the lot can fill up by mid-morning on weekends. We should bring plenty of water because the loop is about 6 miles with some elevation gain around the halfway point. I packed some sandwiches and trail mix already. Let me know if you want to carpool from my place since I am closer to the highway entrance. The weather report looks decent with partly cloudy skies and temps in the low 70s. I also printed out a map just in case cell service drops once we get into the canyon area. We can stop at that bakery on the way back if you want. I think starting early will give us plenty of time to enjoy the views and take breaks along the trail. Let me know your thoughts on the timing.

I finished the novel last night and the ending caught me off guard. I thought the main character made sense given everything that happened earlier in the story. I marked a few passages that stood out to me that I can share when we meet. Do you think we should recommend this author for next month as well or try something completely different? I know some people wanted a non-fiction selection for a change. I can bring snacks if no one else has volunteered yet. Let me know what time works best for everyone. I think Tuesday evenings are usually good for most of the group. We could meet at my place if you want, or we can rotate to someone else. Let me know what you think.
