Hey thanks for getting back to me yesterday. I really appreciated your perspective on the backyard project. I ended up going with the native plant option you suggested and I think it will look great once everything fills in. The soil there has always been tricky so I will be curious to see how the roots take hold. I also picked up a few bags of compost to mix in before planting. The local nursery had a sale on mulch so I grabbed enough to cover the beds. My neighbor said the deer might nibble on some of the new growth so I will keep an eye on that. Let me know if you want to come over and see it once I have everything laid out. I am planning to work on it Saturday morning if the weather holds up.

I finally got around to organizing the garage this weekend and it feels amazing. I found all sorts of stuff I forgot I had including that old camping stove and a box of paperback novels. The shelves are labeled now so I can actually find things. I used the pegboard system you recommended for the tools and it freed up so much floor space.
