Office of the Spokesperson The below is attributable to Spokesperson Tommy Pigott: Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke today with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul. The two discussed the ongoing talks with Iran and underscored the importance of freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Additionally, they discussed the Foreign Minister’s trip to Washington next week and the upcoming NATO Summit.
