Veterans Crisis Line - If you are having thoughts of hurting yourself or you want to speak with a mental health professional, call the Veterans Crisis Line at 988, Press 1.
Emergency - If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911. The Emergency Department at Madison VA Hospital is always open, even during federal holidays.
Urgent Care - VA offers urgent care services to eligible Veterans at in-network urgent care clinics in the community. You can use the VA’s urgent care benefit to treat minor injuries and illnesses that are not life-threatening. For information about urgent care providers in your community, visit here or speak to our Triage staff for a referral to a VA-approved urgent care facility.
VA Health Connect - If you have a medical concern, call 833-933-1107 and select 3. A registered nurse can engage Veterans for virtual care with medical providers within VA Health Connect, if needed.
MyVA411 - Call 800-MyVA411 (800-698-2411) as a “front door” to VA for Veterans, their families, caregivers and survivors. You only need to remember one number for information on VA care, benefits, and services, or to speak to a live agent for assistance!
