we spoke about the garden renovation last week and i wanted to share a few thoughts. the raised beds should go in along the south side where they will get the most light throughout the day. we can use cedar for the frames since it holds up well against moisture. i already checked with the local nursery and they have soil blend available for delivery next saturday. the irrigation setup will be straightforward if we run the line from the spigot behind the garage. i think we can complete the main work in a single weekend if the weather cooperates. let me know if you want to adjust the layout or add any additional beds before i order materials.

i looked into the scheduling for next month and wanted to share what i found. the first week is mostly open except for tuesday afternoon. the second week has a few more commitments but nothing that cannot be adjusted. i think we should target the middle of the month for the larger project since everyone seems to have availability then. the venue we discussed is booked for the 15th but the 22nd is still open and the rate is reasonable. i can make the reservation if you think that date works for the group. let me know your thoughts on this timing and i will move forward accordingly.
