Oh, I totally get what you mean about the new software update. It took me a while to find the dark mode toggle too. It ended up being buried in the accessibility settings. Why they hide basic stuff like that is beyond me. Anyway, once I switched it over, it was much easier on the eyes. I've been using the program daily for the past week and it's growing on me. The auto-save feature is a lifesaver, especially when I forget to hit save. Let me know if you find any other cool shortcuts. I'm trying to streamline my workflow a bit. Let's catch up properly over coffee next week. Tuesday works for me if you're free around 10. I know a great spot near the park that serves excellent lattes. I'll send you a calendar invite. Talk soon!

Thanks for your note about the book club meeting. I'm halfway through the novel and I have so many theories about the main character's past. I think the author is dropping subtle hints about him being connected to the old lighthouse keeper. The descriptions of the coastline are so vivid. It makes me want to plan a trip out east this summer. I'm hoping the weather holds up. Have you finished it yet? I won't spoil anything, but the chapter that ends with the storm was intense. I had to stop reading and just stare out the window for a bit. It really makes you think about isolation and how people cope with it. The symbolism of the tide coming in is a bit on the nose, but it works. Anyway, let me know if you want to grab a coffee before the next meeting to discuss. I'm free Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. Just pick a time and place.
