I think the best part about living in this neighborhood is how friendly everyone is. Last weekend I finally met the people next door and they offered to help me with my garden since I'm still learning. I've been trying to grow tomatoes and herbs but the soil here is quite different from what I'm used to. They gave me some really good tips about composting and which varieties grow best in this climate. I also found out there's a community garden just a few blocks away where they hold workshops every month. I'm thinking about signing up for the next one since I could definitely use the guidance. The weather has been perfect for spending time outside which makes everything feel more manageable. I'm looking forward to seeing how things turn out once the season really gets going. Yq5yqGRHmCim It's been a nice change of pace from my old routine and I'm glad I finally introduced myself.
I've been trying to decide what to do for my vacation this year and I'm torn between two options. Part of me wants to do something low-key and just rent a cabin somewhere quiet where I can read and hike. The other part thinks I should go somewhere I've never been before and have a proper adventure. My friend just came back from a trip out west and she said the landscape was unlike anything she'd ever seen.

She took some incredible photos and the stories she told made me feel like I missed out by not going with her. I still have some time to figure it out but I feel like if I don't decide soon everything will be booked. I'm leaning toward the adventure option honestly because I can always do the quiet trip later. There's something about seeing a new place that resets your perspective and I think I need that right now.
I also started a new book last night that a colleague recommended and I can barely put it down. The writing style is really engaging and the plot moves at a good pace. It's been a while since I found something that grabbed my attention this quickly.
