yeah I think the hike this weekend was exactly what I needed. The trails were a bit muddy but the weather held up nicely. I brought that new thermos you recommended and it worked great. We should plan another one soon maybe somewhere with a lake next time. Let me know what you think about the schedule for next month. I can probably get Friday off if that works for everyone. Bring your camera the views should be amazing. I also wanted to ask about the camping gear you mentioned. If we go in late spring the nights might still be chilly so I will pack extra layers. Do you think we should reserve the campsites in advance or just take a chance on first come first served? Let me know what you prefer. I am happy to handle the booking if needed. I finally finished reading that book series you gave me last year. Took a while because I kept getting sidetracked with work and other stuff but I really enjoyed the character development in the later books. The author has a unique way of describing scenes that makes you feel like you are right there. Have you read anything else by the same author? I am looking for recommendations for my next read. Something lighter maybe a comedy or a mystery. Also I tried that pasta recipe you sent me and it turned out pretty well except I burnt the garlic a little. Still tasted good though. Let me know if you have any other easy dinner ideas. I am trying to cook more at home instead of ordering takeout. I find it saves money and is generally healthier.
