Yeah I totally agree with you on that. We went up to the lake house last weekend and it was just what we needed. The weather turned out better than forecasted so we got to spend most of Saturday outside on the deck. My brother brought his new grill and made those smoked ribs everyone keeps talking about. They were actually really good not gonna lie. We stayed up way too late playing cards and just catching up on life. Sunday morning we took the boat out for a few hours before heading back home. The water was calm and it was honestly so peaceful. Traffic was manageable on the way back which was a nice surprise. I think we're gonna try to go back up again FuRNWuGWVhuYvuM in a few weeks before the season really ends. You should come along next time it'd be fun. I'll text you the dates once we figure them out.

I finally watched that documentary you recommended last night. It was really well done honestly I was surprised by how much I got into it. The cinematography was gorgeous and they interviewed some fascinating people who really brought the story to life. I ended up going down a rabbit hole afterwards reading more about the subject online. There's so much context and background that didn't make it into the film but it's all equally interesting. I also started that novel you gave me a few weeks ago and I'm about halfway through now. The writing style is so distinct it took me a few chapters to get into the rhythm of it but now I cant put it down. The main character is incredibly well developed and the plot has some unexpected turns. I can see why you thought I'd like it. Let me know if you have any other recommendations I need to restock my reading list soon.
