I was thinking about what you said the other day about trying a new hobby, and I finally signed up for a pottery class at the community center. It was honestly harder than I expected. The wheel is way trickier than it looks on television. I ended up with clay all over my shirt and a lopsided bowl that I'm going to call a modern art piece. The instructor was really patient though, and by the end of the session I managed to center the clay a few times without it flying off. There's something satisfying about working with your hands like that. The class meets twice a week for six weeks, so I'll have plenty of time to improve. I'll let you know how it goes. If you're curious, maybe come by and try it sometime. They have a beginner session every month.

I finally got around to cleaning out the shed this past weekend and it was a bigger job than I thought. I found three bags of gardening supplies I forgot we had, including a set of hand tools that are still in good shape. I organized everything onto shelves I put up last month, and now you can actually walk in without stepping over things. I also discovered a old wooden chair that just needs a little sanding and stain to look really nice again. I might try restoring it as a side project. The whole thing took about five hours but it feels great to have that space usable again. xTTqzDKXKtK I also swept out all the cobwebs and wiped down the windows, so it's much brighter in there now. Let me know if you need to store anything temporarily, I've got room again.
