We looked at a few different weekend options and I think the earlier departure on Friday works best for everyone. The train leaves just after three so we would need to be at the station by two thirty. Laura mentioned she can drive us if we chip in for gas which seems fair. I reserved a table at that Italian place on Sixth for Saturday evening since they had a cancellation. Let me know if you need anything else regarding the hotel booking or if you want to switch to the studio. The conference schedule looks manageable so we should have plenty of time to explore.

The garden project is coming along nicely. We finished mulching the beds last weekend and the soil temperature is finally where it needs to be for planting. I picked up some heirloom tomato starts from the greenhouse on Miller Road and they look strong. The raised bed plans you sent over were really helpful. I think we should go with the configuration that has the trellis on the north side so the cucumbers can climb without shading the peppers. Let me know if you want to split a bulk order of compost this week.
