I think the best part of the trip was just wandering around the old town without a map. We found this tiny bakery that had the most amazing croissants I have ever tasted. The owner was this older lady who did not speak much English but she was so warm and welcoming. She kept offering us different pastries to try. We ended up going back there every morning during our stay. The cobblestone streets were a bit tricky to walk on especially after it rained but that added to the charm honestly. My phone died halfway through the second day which was probably a good thing because it forced me RCt620KBa6yCq2S to be more present and just soak everything in. I would definitely recommend visiting in the spring when the flowers are in bloom. The local market on Saturday morning was incredible too fresh produce and handmade crafts everywhere.

I finally got around to reading that book you recommended last month and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The writing style took me a few chapters to get used to but once the story picked up I could not put it down. There is this one plot twist around chapter twelve that completely caught me off guard. I had to go back and reread the earlier chapters to see if I missed any clues. The character development was really well done especially the way the author handled the relationships between the siblings. It made me think about my own family dynamics in a way I had not before. Have you read any of her other books? I am thinking about picking up her earlier novel next. Let me know if you want to borrow this copy when I am done with it.
