Hey, thanks for the suggestions on the deck repainting project! I ended up going with a semi-transparent cedar stain instead of the solid color we talked about. It was a bit more work to apply, but the grain looks amazing now. I also got a new sprayer which made the job a lot faster. Still need to finish the railings, hopefully this weekend if the weather holds up. The prep work took forever, but totally worth it in the end. I'll send over some pictures once it's fully done. Let me know if you want to borrow the sprayer for your fence! I also tried out that new barbecue rub you recommended. It was fantastic on chicken wings. We'll have to do a cook-off sometime soon. I also wanted to ask about your experience with those battery-powered lawn tools. I'm thinking of replacing my old gas trimmer and blower. The quiet operation sounds appealing, and I'm tired of mixing fuel. Do the batteries last long enough for a standard yard? I've got about a quarter acre, so nothing too massive. Anyway, let me know what you think. Hope you're having a great week!

I just finished reading that new historical fiction novel set in 1920s Paris. It was such a captivating story! The author did a wonderful job describing the city and the characters felt so real. I found myself staying up way too late just to finish one more chapter. Do you have any book recommendations for something similar? I'm also looking for a new podcast to listen to during my commute. I recently finished a true crime series and need something a bit lighter. Maybe a comedy or an interesting interview show? Let me know if anything comes to mind. Also, I signed up for that pottery class I was telling you about. The first session was a bit messy, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. It's so relaxing to work with clay after a long day at the computer. The instructor said we will start glazing pieces next week, which sounds exciting. I might try to make a set of small bowls as gifts for the holidays. Anyway, I hope you're doing well and finding time for your own creative projects this season!
