Honestly, I think the best way to approach the project is to just start with a simple outline and then fill in the details as we go. I've been working on something similar for a while now and I've found that if you try to plan everything upfront, you end up overthinking it and nothing gets done. The team seems to be on board with that approach as well. I talked to Marcus yesterday and he said the same thing — just get something on paper and then iterate.

I also picked up a few tips from watching how the design team handles their sprints. They block out the first 30 minutes for pure brainstorming, no critiques allowed, and then they spend the rest of the time building and refining. It sounds obvious but it really works. I tried it last week on a different task and I was surprised how much faster things moved.

Anyway, I think if we follow that same rhythm we can probably wrap up the initial draft by Thursday and then spend Friday reviewing it together. Let me know what you think. I can send over the outline I started if you want to take a look before the meeting.

I finally got around to trying that new recipe you sent me last week. It turned out way better than I expected. I swapped out the chicken for tofu and added a bit more ginger than what the original called for, and honestly it was one of the best things I've cooked in months. The sauce was the key part — I let it simmer for an extra ten minutes and it thickened up perfectly.

I also ended up adding some roasted sweet potatoes on the side, just to have something hearty. My partner was skeptical at first but after the first bite she said it was a keeper. So thank you for that recommendation. I'm definitely going to try the other variation you mentioned with the peanut dressing next time.

On a totally different note, I've been thinking about signing up for that pottery workshop at the community center downtown. A friend of mine took it last fall and said it was really relaxing and the instructor was great. I've never done anything with ceramics before but it sounds like a good way to unplug after work. Let me know if you'd ever be interested in trying something like that. I think it would be fun to do it together.
