I think the best way to handle that would be to check the weather forecast first. I usually plan my weekend around rain schedules because nothing ruins a good hike like getting caught in the middle of nowhere soaked. Last time we went up to the ridge it started drizzling halfway through. We had to turn back earlier than planned but honestly the clouds looked amazing. Let me know if you want to try again next Saturday morning I can bring snacks. We could even stop at that little overlook you like. mJkhiEiecAI Just be sure to wear something with good grip the trail gets muddy after any moisture. I'll pack extra water and maybe a thermos of coffee. Let's make a decision by Thursday so we can coordinate rides. I know you prefer driving but my new car handles those gravel roads pretty well now.

I finally got around to reading that book you recommended. It took me a while to get into the first chapter but after that I couldn't put it down. The way the author describes the landscape really pulls you in. I kept picturing the cliffs and the ocean scenes. There's a part where the main character discovers an old map that leads to a hidden cove. That whole sequence felt like a movie. I think you'd enjoy a discussion about the ending because I have a few theories about the symbolism. Let me know if you want to grab coffee sometime this week. I'm free Wednesday afternoon or Thursday evening. mJkhiEiecAI I also started the sequel but I'm only a few pages in. Should I wait until we talk about the first book? Don't want to spoil anything.
