Hey, I finally tried that fermentation project we talked about. Started with a simple batch of pickles using cucumbers from the farmers market. The brine is just water, salt, dill, and garlic. It's been sitting on my counter for about a week now and I can see bubbles forming so something is definitely happening in there. I'm not sure if it will actually work or if I'll end up with a jar of mush but it is kind of fun to watch the process. xknIwD4QSmU9Nxx I read that you have to burp the jars every day to let the gas out. I forgot for two days and the lid was bulging. Nothing exploded though so that is good. If this batch turns out edible I might try kimchi next. The hardest part is waiting. Let me know how your batch turned out if you ended up starting one. I think the next time I will know what to expect and it will be much less stressful. Anyway let me know what you think when you have a moment to write back.

Oh yes I know exactly what you mean about the new software rollout. Our team had the exact same issues when we switched over last quarter. The interface is completely different from what everyone was used to and the training materials did not cover half of the edge cases people run into daily. I found that spending an hour just clicking through every menu and writing down where things moved to helped a lot. I also created a cheat sheet for my team with the most common tasks and their new locations. The IT department told us it would get better after the first major update and they were right. The second version fixed a lot of the slow loading problems. I would recommend setting up a quick weekly sync with your team to share tips. We did that for a month and it saved everyone a lot of frustration. Also the search function is actually pretty good once you learn the keywords it recognizes. Hope that helps you guys get through the transition a little smoother. Let me know how it goes for your team once they settle into the new workflow.
