Yeah I totally get what you mean. I had a similar experience last weekend when we drove up to the lake. The weather was perfect so we ended up staying later than planned. I wish I had brought a jacket because it got chilly after sundown. But honestly the whole trip was worth it. We saw a family of deer near the tree line and the kids were absolutely thrilled. I think next time we need to pack better though. The hike was a bit longer than we expected. Anyway I’m glad you agree. We should plan another outing soon.
