I think we should aim for Saturday morning instead of Sunday because the farmer's market will be open and we can grab those fresh pastries you liked last time. Plus the forecast shows Sunday might get rainy and I'd rather not risk the whole day being damp. Let me know if that shifts anything on your end since I know you have that thing with your neighbor later in the day but I figure if we wrap up by noon you'll have plenty of time. Also I wanted to ask if you've heard back from the group about the picnic next month because I need to start planning what to bring and I don't want to end up with three bags of chips again. I can bring that veggie platter you taught me to make if no one else is already on savory duty. Just let me know what you hear.
Oh and I finally fixed the latch on the gate so the dog can't push it open anymore. Took me longer than I expected because the hinge was rusted but a little oil and a new screw did the trick. He's not happy about losing his escape route but the garden will survive.

I finally got around to organizing the garage closet last weekend and honestly it was way more satisfying than I expected. I found three boxes of things I forgot we even had including that old camping stove and a stack of paperback novels I've been meaning to re-read forever. I ended up donating two bags of stuff and now I can actually walk in there without tripping over anything. The shelves I put up last month helped a ton but I still need to get a few more bins for the seasonal decorations. Anyway the point is I finally have room to park both cars inside again which feels like a small victory. Let me know if you want to borrow that camping stove because I don't think we will use it this year with the trip getting postponed.
Also I tried that new Thai place on Grand and the curry was really good but the spring rolls were just okay. The sauce was a little too sweet for my taste. I'd go back for the noodles though those were excellent.
