PSMP Refresh

Public Spaces Master Plan Open House

We’re freshening up the Public Spaces Master Plan (PSMP) and want you in the discussion! Join us for the second PSMP Refresh community meeting on Wednesday, May 27, from 7- 8:30 p.m. at Walter Reed Community Center multipurpose room. 

The PSMP guides decisions about parks, public spaces and facilities across the County. This update will help set future priorities for public spaces and amenities. RSVP to let us know you’re coming.

Watch the World Soccer Championship with Us!

Looking for a place to watch the World Cup this summer? We've got the perfect gathering spot! Join us at Arlington Mill Community Center Plaza for three live match screenings amongst some of Arlington's biggest soccer fans! Enjoy music, games, food trucks and a high‑energy, family‑friendly atmosphere. Match screenings will include:

  • June 17: Ghana vs. Panama 
  • June 24: Scotland vs. Brazil
  • July 1: Round of 32

Parks & Recreation classes, camps, fitness memberships, preschools, programs and more are at a price you can afford! Our fee reduction program helps Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day! Access for All. Whether you have a short-term set back or something longer term, we're here to help.

 

Additionally, all Parks & Recreation programs, classes and camps can put modifications in place to promote an enjoyable and successful program experience for participants of all abilities. Advance notice is welcome. Call 703-228-4740 or email trinfo@arlingtonva.us.

 

Stop by our office at Lubber Run Community Center on select Saturdays to get help with registration, create an account, get login information, renew or apply for fee reductions, drop off registration forms, set up payment plans and more. The DPR Administrative Services Office at Lubber Run Community Center also has extended after hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 –7 p.m. for in-person assistance.
