Message from the President
Hello FHS Community!!
Just a couple newsletters left for this school year. Thank you to all those who joined this year. Please remember that your PTSA membership is per school year, so please keep an eye out for us in August as we will need your generous support again!!
SENIOR PARENTS! We need your help. Without an actual committee, it’s been a LONG year of getting this event off and running for your seniors. We appreciate those who helped run the craft fair and volunteer here and there. However, it will all be for nothing if we can’t get volunteers for the actual event, as we are required by The St. James to have 1 volunteer/chaperone per 10 graduates, we will have to cancel if you don’t help out. The second shift is very thin, so please sign up!! Volunteers for All Night Grad!!
You don’t need to be a senior parent to volunteer. Anyone over the age of 18 can help out. This might be a good chance for Junior parents to see the event for next year!
We are starting to plan for the next school year, if you have any ideas for the PTSA please let me know! If you have any questions about what the PTSA does or how you can help, please feel free to email me at President@FairfaxPTSA.org.
JUNIOR PARENTS!!!! It’s time we start planning for next year’s All Night Grad (ANG). I will be in the Junior Parent meeting this week. I will speak about what ANG is and what we need to put on a great party for your (soon to be) Seniors! There is not necessarily a lot to do over the summer, but we will need to plan for the year. Without a committee this tradition may not happen. The more help we have the easier this will be. Please fill out this form to receive updates and meeting information for ANG. Please read the information included as this will also be the FHS PTSA Permission Form. There will also be a link for the St. James waiver included. Both will need to be filled out for the student to attend. Free and Reduced Lunch, please see Ms. Courtney in the front office.
