Dear Beech Tree Families,
Hope everyone is ready for a couple more days off from school! I know my kids are (but maybe their parents are less ready). As the school year is heading towards an end (who can believe it is almost June; I swear it was almost February yesterday?), we have a few last things to close out the semester.
- The Spring Fling is on Thursday May 28th from 6:30p to 8:00p. There will be dancing, a DJ (to help with the dancing), snacks (to keep up the energy for dancing), and leis for purchase (to make sure we are all appropriately festive while dancing). Admission is $1 (a steal!) and snacks are 50 cents (practically giving these away). Come and dance with us to celebrate the end of the year!
- Our last Restaurant Day is also coming up. Eat at Shake Shack in Mosaic District on June 3rd . Mention Donation Day at the register, or use promo code DONATE on the Shack App, web or kiosk at checkout and they will donate 25% of your total meal purchase to us!
- Finally, this is yet another plea for volunteers for next year’s PTA. We want any level of effort you can contribute, but we mostly need a treasurer for the 2026-2027 school year! Do you like helping out our wonderful kids and have an eye for numbers (just one eye is fine; no need for both your eyes to be occupied with PTA stuff. We know you are busy!)? WE NEED YOU.
