Help Clean Accotink Creek in the City of Fairfax on May 16, 2026 and Earn Stormwater Utility Credits 

On Saturday May 16, 2026  join Friends of Accotink Creek in partnership with the Alice Ferguson Foundation and Project Clean Stream to get trash out of our waterways during the Annual Potomac Watershed Cleanup. 

City residents who participate in this event may earn stormwater utility credits.

May 16, 2026 Cleanup Locations: 

• 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Accotink Creek at Fairfax Blvd

• 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.: Accotink Creek at University Drive

• 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Accotink Creek at Blenheim Blvd
