Dear Spartan families,
As we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week, thank you for your support and donations! If you're still interested in supporting, we could use a few more helping hands in the morning! (Door 13 at 9am) - please contact sepulvadamolly@gmail.com if you're available!
This year's Scholarships for Success application window is closing soon (5/8, 8pm)! Please see details here and below.
Our next PTSA meeting is scheduled for May 12th, 730-830pm. You can register here.
Currently at the top of the PTSA priority list is nominations for next year's officers. If you are interested in serving as an officer, even remotely, please don't hesitate to reach out to wshsptsa@gmail.com and/or wshsptsanominations@gmail.com to discuss. And Thank You!
The WSHS All Night Grad Part (ANGP) team can still use volunteers to help raise money for this year's ANGP. This is the biggest (and primary) fundraiser for the All Night Grad Party. Please reach out to wshsangp@gmail.com with any questions. First step is to sign up for the Jiffy Lube training here (the last combined one is May 16) - and fill out this form for the ANGP committee. This volunteer role is to take the Jiffy Lube training to be able to sell concessions at an upcoming Jiffy Lube concert of your choice (free entry!). A portion of the concessions sales goes to the ANGP.
And we'll have one last restaurant night at District Taco! on May 20th - stay tuned for details.
Check out the WSHS PTSA Community page for a list of other WSHS fundraisers and community requests. If you have fundraisers or other announcements you would like to share, please e-mail the PTSA at wshsptsa@gmail.com
Purpose: The West Springfield High School PTSA offers a scholarship to at least one WSHS senior (sometimes more) who has had an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) in place for at least two of their four years in high school, and who has overcome obstacles on the road to either academic or other school-related success. The amount and number of scholarships is determined by the annual PTSA budget. Last year multiple awards of $500 were offered. The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize the growth that a student has achieved throughout the student's high school career.
Applications Due: Friday, May 8, 2026 by 8 pm.
