Bon Cop, Bad Cop is back, this time on the small screen. The hit Canadian bilingual buddy-cop franchise returns for a third instalment today on Crave in a six-part TV series. Globe critic J. Kelly Nestruck spoke to creator Patrick Huard, who reprises his role as reckless Sûreté du Québec police officer David Bouchard. Huard told the Globe about adapting the franchise for TV and the challenge of writing gags that work in both French and English (spoiler: it’s harder than it seems).
