EDITOR'S NOTE

It’s my birthday month, which means Taurus season is in full swing. True to my sun sign nature, I’m focusing on slowing down to appreciate life’s little pleasures and savor moments of self-care. This week, I was also struck by a response Hailey Bieber gave at the Met Gala about how her perspective on joy has changed since having a child. I think she aptly described why all of us are trying to bring some whimsy (see below) and childlike wonder back into our lives. To honor that, here’s a look at my May wish list to help me take full advantage of celebrating the little things:

• A pretty marble tray to keep my skincare on.

• Rhode eye patches that won’t budge (speaking of Mrs. Bieber).
