A message from the Beech Tree PTA President:
Hello Beech Tree Community,
At our April 14th PTA meeting, we announced our need for a new treasurer starting this Fall. Our current treasurer Meghan Peters has served her alotted 2 consecutive 2 year terms, and it's time to hand the role off to someone new.
We've received no responses.
Not everyone was at the meeting, so we're spreading the word through this email. Meghan is still going to be around, and she's happy to advise and train the new treasurer.

Having no treasurer means for the 2026-2027 school year we would be unable to have:
- Field Trips (PTA pays for buses)
- Fun Fair
- Olympics
- PTA Book Fair
- Teacher grants (providing books, supplies, and special learning opportunities for students, families, and staff)
- PJ Bingo (PTA pays for prizes)
- 5th Grade Party (PTA pays for DJ and other expenses)
- And more
It would also mean we could not legally be in compliance as a PTA, and could make it harder to get things up and running in the future (things like our Tax EIN number facilitate donations with businesses).
