A Message from the PTA President
Dear Hunt Valley Families,
We’ve had a wonderful week of showering 90’s themed love on our teachers and staff. Thanks so much to the volunteers who have given their time and efforts, the families who donated teacher favorite snack items to Tuesday’s snack cart and the Rolling Road Panera and the Huntsman Blvd Starbucks who gave us coffee to supplement our Monday breakfast. I’ll include a few photos below of the fly volunteers and dope food.
Spring Festival is right around the corner! PTA volunteers have been working hard behind the scenes to lay the groundwork for an amazing event this year. We will be joined by food trucks Atlantic BBQ, Empanadas de Mendoza, and Funnel Cake Cafe, who will have delicious funnel cakes and ice cream for sale. We’ve expanded our entertainment this year with additional inflatables and a magician on the black top. There will be carnival style games, a photo booth, face painting by West Springfield HS visual art club students, a live DJ, a cake walk on the far black top and the night closes out as the sun goes down with a Glow Stick Dance Party.
Spring Festival evening will wrap up the year’s biggest PTA fundraiser, our Silent Auction. The auction site is now live! Please check out the amazing listings that are up for bidding. Feel free to share the auction site! Maybe Grandma and Grandpa would like to bid on a gift for someone? Want to see the items in person? They will all be on site during the Spring Festival. The auction will end at 7:30pm, during the Festival. You do not need to be present to win but if you are in attendance, please come to the gym between 7:45 – 8:30 to pick up your item. You can email vp@huntvalleypta.org with any questions.

Candidate Slate for PTA 2026-27 Executive Board
Elections for PTA Board positions in the 2026-2027 school year will take place at the next general membership meeting (May 12th). The May meeting will be the last one of the year, where we will also vote on a Summer Budget. Please make sure to mark the date on your calendar and share your opinions on upcoming PTA efforts.
