Clothing Swap and Textile Recycling Event TONIGHT!
Did you know that 95% of textiles can be recycled? Come help the Green Team maintain the Green Flag Award and reduce what goes into landfills.
Drop off any unwanted clothing or textile item to Ms Callaghan or Ms Wiley (Rooms 213 or 215).
Tonight, Thursday, May 7 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, gently used items will find a new home at the clothing swap in the Terraset Elementary School cafeteria. Terraset Cub Scout Pack 32 will be there to help!
After the event, all usable unclaimed clothing will be donated and unusable items will be recycled.

It's Staff Appreciation Week!
We have created a tropical paradise for our staff this week to show how much we appreciate them!
Thank you to all of the families who have contributed, and to the volunteers who are pitching in to make it happen.
We hope the students have been enjoying participating through our Spirit Days, too! Don't forget tomorrow you could send in a little note or picture to brighten a staff member's day.

Tigers on the Run + Field Day
This year, we’re combining Field Day + a Fun Run Fundraiser for an unforgettable day of energy, teamwork, and Terraset Tiger Pride! Students will run while raising money through per-lap pledges or one-time donations. And all Tigers can participate regardless of whether they get pledges or donations.
School Fundraising Goal: $10,000
If we reach our goal, students will get the chance to toss a whipped-cream pie at Mrs. Aldridge and Callyn Giese (PTO President) during a school celebration!
Classes will also compete to win a popsicle party (highest % of students signed up on the fundraising website) or a pizza party (most combined laps run).
Why it Matters: Every lap run supports the Terraset PTO’s work to bring meaningful programs, fun events, and community support to our students, teachers, and families.
Sign up your student on our fundraising site and start collecting pledges and donations TODAY!

Community News
Volunteer at the All-Night Grad Party!
On graduation night, South Lakes High School seniors come together for a graduation party for all… to celebrate, laugh, and make memories with friends in a safe and fun environment.
In order to make this amazing event happen, South Lakes needs help from the entire community and school pyramid--and that includes Terraset!
This event will be held at South Lakes High School on Friday, June 5th.
There are many, many ways you can help before, during, and after this event, so please check out the options and choose a task or time slot that works for you. Students can even come with you and help with set up or break down, earning community service hours and "paying it forward" because someday they will be graduating Seahawks!
Thank you for supporting this tradition that is a key milestone and memory for South Lakes graduates.
