I meant to answer sooner, but I wanted to think about it a little first.
If it helps, I would keep the plan simple and not try to juggle too many moving parts at once.
I usually write down the first three things that feel most pressing, then I pick one and do only that until it is finished.
Once I got in the habit of shrinking the list, I stopped feeling so scattered in the afternoon.
I also noticed that taking a short walk, even just around the block, clears my head way more than staring at the same screen.
The other thing that works for me is deciding the night before what I want the next morning to feel like.
It sounds silly, but giving the day a mood makes the routine easier to stick to.
If you want, send over what you are deciding between and I can help trim it down.

I tried that recipe again last night, and it turned out much better once I stopped rushing the middle step.
The first time I kept adding ingredients before the pan had a chance to heat properly, so everything tasted fine but the texture was off.
This time I prepped everything in small bowls and just moved through it more calmly.
It made cleanup easier too, which was probably my favorite part since my sink has been full all week.
Also, you were right about using more herbs than I thought felt reasonable.
It looked like too much, then somehow settled into exactly the right flavor.
I am going to make it again this weekend and probably bring leftovers if any survive past lunch.
If you still have that other version written down somewhere, send it over because now I am curious which one holds up better the next day.
