Engineered stone: Join HSE at the Stone and Surfaces Show
12 to 14 May, ExCeL London.
Work on engineered stone can produce high levels of respirable crystalline silica (RCS) dust, leading to serious but preventable lung diseases such as silicosis, COPD and lung cancer.
On 13 May, in the Architects Theatre, HSE’s Mike Calcutt, Deputy Director in the Engagement and Policy Division, will share insights from two years of research with the stone industry to identify effective controls for reducing RCS exposure.
Visit the HSE stand for practical advice and register for a free ticket to attend. Further guidance is available on the Work Right website.
