Legal and Financial Planning Wednesday, April 8, Noon-1:30 p.m. This class helps care partners prepare for the future by learning about essential legal documents such as Power of Attorney, wills, and trusts, while exploring the costs of care and available financial resources like Medicare and Medicaid.
Day to Day Care and Safety Wednesday, May 13, Noon-1:30 p.m. This class empowers care partners to enhance daily life by discovering the importance of effective routines, implementing home safety modifications, and learning valuable tips for personal care (including bathing, dressing, and mealtimes).
Care Partner Well-Being Wednesday, June 10, Noon-1:30 p.m. This class empowers care partners to prioritize their health by helping them discover and practice effective strategies to manage stress, reduce the risk of caregiver burnout, utilize mindfulness techniques, and successfully find respite care.

- Advocates for improving the quality of life for persons receiving long-term care services
- Works to resolve complaints against long-term care providers through counseling, negotiation, and investigation
- Provides information about long-term care providers to help make an informed decision
- Educates the community about long-term care issues
- Visits residents of long-term care facilities on a weekly basis through our volunteer program
- Trains long-term care staff on long-term care related information
- Consults with providers
