[NOTICE] CMS AWS Migration – Extract Schedule & Test Window

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

The following notice is for downstream recipients of PECOS extracts in the production environment.

CMS is migrating PECOS from on-prem to CMS AWS cloud with PECOS Extracts scheduled to go-live on April 20th, 2026.

There will be no business logic changes to the application or extracts as part of this migration. Extract schedules and endpoints are expected to remain unchanged.

A UAT test window is available to validate your processes from March 30 to April 10.

If you plan to take part in UAT, the stakeholders are expected to conduct End-to-End Regression testing of data extract files from PECOS to downstream systems.
