Principal's Message

Happy Spring, Eagle View Families!

This week brought a wonderful mix of joy, celebration, and community spirit to Eagle View. The highlight was Tuesday, March 17th—a truly fun and meaningful day for our school!

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, our House of Isibindi took center stage (and, fittingly, the color green was everywhere!). We celebrated our Second Annual Isibindi Day, and it was a fantastic way to bring our house values to life. Students were welcomed upon arrival with music, green and gold necklaces, bravery stickers, and even small cups of “liquid courage” (a student favorite!). Staff joined in the celebration, creating an energizing and unified start to the day. It was a joyful reminder of the power of belonging and school spirit.

To support our students fasting, we distributed liquid courage in to-go cups at dismissal so students could take them home. We are proud to support and honor the diverse traditions within our Eagle View community.

Looking Ahead

We have a couple of important schedule reminders for the upcoming week:

  • Wednesday, March 25 – Regular 3-hour early release
    • Students will be dismissed according to their usual plan on file. If you need to make a change, please contact the main office at (703) 322-3100 before 10:00 AM.
  • Friday, March 27 – 2-hour early release (End of Quarter)
    • All students will be dismissed at 2:00 PM.

Spring Break begins after dismissal on March 27:

  • March 30 – April 3: Spring Break (No School)
  • April 6: Teacher Workday (No School for Students)

We hope your family enjoys a restful and refreshing spring break. Thank you for your continued partnership and support—we are so grateful to be part of this incredible community.

Sincerely,

KJ An

Principal
