The Clark County School District will have about $50 million less to fund schools for the 2026-27 school year, according to a fact sheet district officials have released.
The sheet said 284 schools will see budget reductions next school year and noted that enrollment fell at more than 201 of those schools this year. It’s unclear how many jobs will be eliminated in Clark County schools next school year as a result of the funding decreases, as school budgets have not been finalized.
