Due to the extension of Quarter 2, the FCPS Office of Information Technology will not have mid-semester transcripts for Class of 2026 processed until Wednesday, February 11, 2026. School Counselors will work diligently to get the mid-semester transcript uploaded to the college platform (Common Application, SCOIR - Coalition Application, College Dashboards, Parchment, Mail) by Close of Business (COB) on Friday, February 13, 2026.
For those who have already applied, you may have also already begun to receive emails stating that you need to submit your mid-semester transcript as soon as possible or an emai stating that your mid-semester transcript has not been received. Please understand that these emails are automated from the college system and colleges do not have a way to turn them off. Even if you can see your mid-semester transcript was updated, you will more than likely continue to receive emails stating that you still need ot turn it in.
When to be concerned? Starting Monday, February 16, 2026, if you receive an email that is addressed directly to you, that is personalized (email is not automated), and from an actual admissions representative (vs the Admissions Office) stating that they have yet to receive your mid-semester transcript, please contact your School Counselor. They will be able to provide how they uploaded your transcript and a confirmation ID (if applicable). You can provide this information to the Admissions representative who contacted you. More often than not, the transcript is in the college system, but the college software is having difficulty processing the transcript to attach to your college application. By providing them with how the transcript was uploaded, date of upload, and confirmation ID (if applicable) will help them locate the transcript.
You have the option to Go Paperless which is a more convenient option for receiving your child’s report cards!
By choosing to go paperless, you'll be able to:
Here's how you can opt-in:
- You must have a ParentVUE Account (see below if you need one)
-
Log into ParentVUE, click on "My Account"
-
Select “Go Paperless”
-
All parents/guardians living with the student at the same address must have an active SIS ParentVUE account to opt-in.
-
Once selected, the “Go Paperless” option will apply to all associated students, no matter their grade level.
-
Example: You have a student in 3rd grade, 7th grade and 11th grade. You have logged into the 3rd grader's ParentVUE account and selected "Go Paperless". This selection will also update the 7th grader and 11th grader's Report Card status. So you don't need to log into the 7th grader and the 11th grader's account to do the same action.
\n order to support students in settling into a consistent class schedule, please see the timeline for schedule changes for the 2025-2026 school year.
-
September 22, 2025 - February 6, 2026:
- No Elective Change Requests

- After the Academic Improvement Plan is completed and the student still wishes to move forward with the academic level change, the schedule request will be reviewed by a committee. Approval is not guaranteed and is based on seat availability in the requested course
-
November 18, 2025: Last day to drop a course without it going on the student’s transcript as a Withdrawal Pass (WP) or a Withdrawal Fail (WF). Please see FCPS Regulation 2445.7 – Policy for Dropping A Class
-

A new Graduation Status section is now available in ParentVUE and StudentVUE. The Graduation Status is a tool that helps parents and students monitor and track their progress in meeting graduation requirements. This feature includes progress towards the Standard or Advanced Studies diploma for high school students and middle school students who have enrolled in one or more high school courses. This new graduation status section is available in addition to the course history and unofficial transcript options in ParentVUE and StudentVUE. To view the graduation status section, please take the following steps:
- Login to your SIS ParentVUE Account
- Go to “Course History” for your middle or high school student
- Go to “Graduation Status” and toggle “on”
If you would like a Locker for School Year 2025-2026, please submit your Locker Request.
All students get a locker upstairs with the exception of Athletes. We are allowing Fall Athletes to get a locker in the D Hall. Student participation in the sport must be verified by Athletics Office. If students say that they're participating in a sport but actually are not, then they will receive an upstairs locker.
Once students receive their locker, this is their locker for the rest of the school year.
Please allow 5 school days to process your request. When approved, the locker number and combination will be emailed to directly to the student's FCPS Google Email. Students and Parents can also check ParentVUE/StudentVUE --> Info
All lockers are assigned based on time of request.
This information has been posted in Schoology --> Student Services --> Updates
Locker Request Form for SY25-26
All seniors must have the Consent to Share Transcript to Colleges on file in order for the school to send the official transcript to 2-year/4-year colleges, military academies, military branches, scholarship organizations, and others. If this consent is not on file, we will not be able to release the official transcript to these organizations.
Part One: Please return completed forms to Ms. Bond in Student Services. If you've already signed the form, no need to sign again.
